Step-by-Step Ring Carving
Start with a ring
blank that is parallel and perpendicular. Fill in scribed lines with a black
non-permanent brush marker or black paint. (If using paint, for best results
choose tempera, poster, or gouache, with a drop of dishwashing liquid added
to break the surface tension.)
